It's Finally Here

I'm so excited to see all of you that can make it; and hoping maybe to convince a few more of you to come who will be around this weekend... :) I do have a few dinners still available for Saturday night, so please come if you can!!!

Just some quick reminders -

Friday - Potluck Family Tailgate Party

This starts at 5pm at the Hurricane West Stake Center (272 West 700 South). Please bring a side, salad, or dessert to share with everyone. All family members are invited! Hot dogs will be provided for $1 each and there will be ice water to drink. We will have inflatables for the kiddos, and some footballs and frisbees to toss around. Robbie will have HHS t-shirts for $6 if you'd like to buy one to wear in the parade, and we will know our parade number tomorrow night.

Saturday - Alumni Dinner

This starts at 6:30 pm at the Middle School (395 North 200 West) in the commons area and is for the adults. Super yummy dinner and some great prizes (2 tickets to Coral Cliff Cinemas, $20 Gift card to Durangos, $20 Gift card to Cafe Rio, 2 tickets to see Grease at Tuacahn (tuesday or thursday showing only), 1 free night at the Ogden, UT. Marriott,

1 free night at the Downtown SLC Marriott, 1 free night at the St. George Courtyard, 1 free night at the Residence Inn Anaheim Hills, CA. (7 miles from Disneyland) ! Like I said, we have some dinners available so it's not too late to come. Just let me know!

I need to get a final count for dinner to the caterer on Friday, so I'm looking for the rest of the "RSVP's." I'm posting a list off all those who have said "yes" and if I've received your payment yet. So if you are planning on coming (and I really hope you are), but just haven't paid yet, please still let me know today or tomorrow and then we'll worry about payment. In order to finalize plans for this much anticipated weekend, I need to have a count of who will be attending which events. And as much as I would love to buy you all dinner, my budget won't allow it. So I've got a couple of options for registration and payment.

If "online" is your preference, leave me a comment with the information requested below and use the paypal button to the right to pay. Sorry - there is an additional $2 "shipping" fee if you pay online (since they're charging me), but it saves a stamp and trip to the post office, right?

Please have registration and payments to me by August 10th for the best price. If payment is made between August 11th and August 20th, the price will be $30/Alumni or $50/Alumni & Partner. After August 20th, the price jumps to $40/Alumni or $60/Alumni & Partner.

It's been 20 years since we left the halls of good ol' Hurricane High, and it's time to get back together and reminisce! We have planned several events over Memorial Day weekend and hope everyone can make it to one or all of them.

Friday, September 2nd -

FAMILY TAILGATE PARTY - 5:00 p.m. at the Hurricane West Stake Center Pavillion (272 South 700 West) Bring the whole family for dinner and fun. Hot dogs will be $1 each and we will provide water to drink. Please bring a salad, side, or dessert to share and any other drinks you'd like. There will be bounce houses and slides for the kids.

HURRICANE HIGH FOOTBALL GAME - 7:00 p.m. vs. Tooele (or stay at the pavillion and keep visiting)

FLOAT DECORATING PARTY - 9:00 p.m. (or whenever the game ends) at Darren Bradshaw's house (182 South 200 West) Come help decorate the float for the Peach Days' parade.

Saturday, September 3rd -

PEACH DAYS PARADE - 8:00 a.m. Find a spot for your family along the parade route and then come jump on the float and ride with us. Lineup starts at 8:00 a.m. at 400 South and Main and the parade starts at 9:00 a.m. Bring a bag of candy if you'd like to throw it to the kiddos along the way.

DINNER FOR ALUMNI & PARTNERS - 6:30 p.m. at Hurricane Middle School (395 North 200 West) A delicious catered dinner for the adults. More time to catch up, share, and reminisce...and perhaps win a prize? $25/alumni or $45/alumni & partner (if paid by August 10th).
